UK Microwave Group RAL Programme



RAL PROGRAMME


RAL 2010 will be on Sunday April 18 at the Rutherford Appleton Labs at Didcot, Oxfordshire.

As well as a full afternoon lecture program, there will be test equipment facilities available

all day, covering the microwave bands, and a surplus swap meet. It is the ideal

meeting place for both experienced microwavers and those who may interested in

starting on the bands 1GHz and up.

Due to security restrictions all visitors must pre-register and details of how to do

this are now on the special UKuG website: www.microwave-events.org. Note also the new directions/location on site below.

Programme:


10.00      Doors open. Please DO NOT attempt to gain entry before this time

           as we need to give the organisers time to prepare.



ALL DAY: Test equipment facilities/display of equipment/surplus swap and trade



1230-1330  Lunch - note there will only be drinks available - no catering available on the day



1330-1340  Formal welcome: G4BAO Chairman UKuG

1340-1400  Presentation of Special Awards

G3VVB Construction Trophy: RAL is an excellent opportunity for the judges to see your hard work!

Antenna Session:

In addition to the main event there will be an antenna test session on Saturday,

17th April, at G4NNS’s QTH, Time 14:30-17:00, Bands 5.7, 10 and 24GHz.

Saturday Dinner

After the antenna session, there will be a Social/Dinner session at 19:30 at The Hatchet Inn, Andover.

There are a limited number of dinner places available (separate registration is needed)
